If God can look after the needs of our evergreen trees how much more can He look after your needs?

One day Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go out into the harvest fields to pick up the stalks of grain left behind by anyone who is kind enough to let me do it.” Naomi replied, “All right, my daughter, go ahead.”
The weather has been so dry recently that Wales has declared drought status. It is on course for being the driest July on record in 190 years.
Recently a farmer got interviewed and he said that rather than spend £176,000 on animal feed he has decided to sell 60 cows to reduce the overheads and the operating costs on his farm.
It’s interesting because when it rains so much we complain and yet when it is too dry and we end up with a hosepipe ban we also end up complaining. Either way agricultural costs are affected by weather extremes.
God is the one who makes the flowers unfold and He melts the clouds of sin and darkness away. He provides the sun and the rain. The truth is God still provides for our needs no matter what the weather. God provided for the food needs of Ruth and Naomi all those years ago.
My friend went for a walk and as you can see the river level is less than it would be normally. The fields are yellow rather than green due to the lack of rainwater. And yet the evergreen trees in the background are still green. They do not lose their colour. God provides for the needs of the evergreen trees. If God can look after the needs of our evergreen trees how much more can He look after your needs?
