Ystrad Mynach Church Celebrates Two Baptisms

Ystrad Mynach Baptisms

Heaven rejoiced along with Ystrad Mynach church as two new members, Denise and Sarah, have been added to God’s kingdom and the wider church family. Both ladies who were born and raised in the beautiful Welsh valleys and brought up within Christian homes embarked upon a quest to seek God for themselves and to get to know and grow their very own personal relationship with Him.

It was at a community choir practice where an Ystrad Mynach church member, Loraine, began making friends with Denise. The journey to baptism often begins through Christ method alone of making friends and sharing one’s journey.

Denise who had already began her spiritual journey of discovery through reading the Bible, attended Ystrad Mynch church with her new-found friend and started having a Bible study with local pastor, Adriana Fodor. Immediately the Holy Spirit impressed upon her heart a burning desire to be baptised and to join her local church family. After a diligent study of the Word of God, Denise gave her life to the Lord on the 2nd May and became the newest member of the Ystrad Mynach church. Already Denise has began to become a witness in her local community by going out and sharing with others what God has done for her.

Sometimes in life God finds us just at the right time when we need Him the most, and so it was with Sarah who also was on a journey of discovery not knowing just what God had in store for her.

At a difficult time in her life Sarah met another of Ystrad Mynach’s church members namely Gabe, who became a friend, a source of encouragement, support and showed her how depending on God could help her with all the cares of this world. After an invitation to attend church, Sarah became a regular attendee and became part of the wider church family. Always enthusiastic about learning from God’s Word, always reflecting the joy of Jesus from her heart, Sarah looked forward to the day when she would enter into the baptismal pool and give her life to the Lord on 18th July. The song “What a friend we have in Jesus “ resonated within Sarah’s life who now with more joy in her heart shares her faith about what the Lord has done for her within the family and at work.

We praise the Lord for the wonderful work He has done and continues to do in Denise's and Sarah’s lives, and through their testimony they will touch other people’s lives who are looking for hope! Let’s continue to keep them in our prayers.
